I remember as a child how I couldn't wait for the next big toy to arrive on the shelf at the store. At that point in time, those toys were more simple than they are today. For boys, it could be a simple remote control with a string or the next big Hot Wheel. For us girls, it was more like the latest fashio barbie or a doll that actually eats and drinks. I was lucky to get a set of building blocks that snapped together. I think they were Legos of some sort. I can't imagine if MagNext toys would have been available back in those days. Just the other day, my nephew showed me an Icoaster he got for Christmas. I wouldn't begin to even know how to put it together, and I'm an adult. But now days, kids have the neatest toys, with some of the best features. I tend to believe that is why children seem so much smarter than when I was a child. It takes intelligence to put together toys they get now. Any type of transformer they have on the shelves for sell is beyond my imagination. But give it to a child and they know exactly what to do with it. It is just amazing. I wish I were a kid again!

They may have cooler toys, but we had better cartoons!
